Job Description

• Workers will be handpicking, sorting, grading, carrying, cleaning, stacking, sorting boxes, boxing, dumping blueberries by color and ripeness. 
• Workers may lift up to 60 lbs. 
• Workers will be expected to conform to the specific instructions given for each days work. 
• Workers may also perform small field maintenance tasks such as weeding, picking up trash, shoveling, irrigation repairs. 
• Instructions and general supervision will be provided by the employer or a designated team leader. 
• Workers will be expected to perform their duties in a timely and proficient manner and will have close supervision to ensure adherence to instructions. 
• Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action. 
• Workers are expected to follow general rules and food safety rules. 
• Tools will be provided to the workers at no cost by the employer. 
• Work in inclement weather (rain, heat, cold, hot, humid) weather may fluctuate work hours (+/-); 
• possible downtimes. 
• $14.68/hour 35 hours a week.

Job Requirements

• The employer will only conduct a drug test only if the worker (employee) is in a work-related accident. 
• The drug testing will be at the employers expense. 
• If the worker fails the drug test or refuses the drug testing, this will be probable cause for termination of employment.
