A vacancy exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant at our Capricorn Residential Aged Care Facility. This role provides care and clinical management for residents in our 66 bed ageing-in-place residence. Full-time be available for all shifts.
This exciting role will work with and report to the Facility Manager, to deliver clinically appropriate care and assist the Facility Manager to create an environment where consumer focus is pivotal in all that we do.

As the successful applicant you will possess the following essential attributes, skills and qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Nursing.
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
- National Police Aged Care Check clearance.
- Must have valid working rights in Australia, sponsorship opportunities for overseas registered nurses with current AHPRA registration.
- Two (2) employer reference checks.
- Must have experience in Aged Care.
- Good knowledge of Care Planning and AN-ACC assessments.
- Contemporary clinical practical experience in aged care and clinical decision making skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sound leadership, Supervisory and Mentor abilities.
- Ability to act as a positive role model and demonstrate the values of Adventist Retirement Plus.
- Understanding of Accreditation in Residential Aged Care and the Australian National Aged Care Classification.
- Ongoing professional development and working with CQI and audits.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to manage the requirements of residents, families and staff.

- Attend a functional assessment.
- Covid-19 preferred.
