We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Lines Workers to join our dynamic team in Darwin City.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Lines Worker, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead and underground electrical power lines and associated equipment. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to the reliable delivery of electrical services across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance:

• Construct, install, and maintain overhead and underground electrical lines.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Repairs and Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose faults in electrical distribution systems and undertake repairs promptly.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as transformers, fuses, and cables.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to Australian safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in regular safety drills and equipment maintenance.

Team Collaboration:

• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver projects on time.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant trade qualifications or certification as an Electrical Lines Worker.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in overhead and underground line work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain one).
• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and first aid certification are highly desirable.
