Malkonyan Hair & Skin Pty Ltd Men’s Culture is a vibrant, established boutique barber now with 3 locations offering a broad range of barber and hairdressing services to our clientele. We've been operating since 2018 and our modern, and up-beat barber salons offer specialised and high-quality hair services.

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking FULL TIME Barbers for our Men’s Culture Salons in Haymarket, Circular Quay, and Martin Place NSW https://mensculture.com.au/

About the role:

Carry out bespoke consultations with clients on their needs and advise on anything from hair care to cuts and colours;
Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits;
Describing different hair care products and their benefits;
Acting as a salesperson to sell clients hair care retail products (Commission offered on sales);
Adhering to salon safety cleanliness standards;
Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the salon;
Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods;
Ability to apply hair colour using several techniques;
Willingness to learn and be a team player;
Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions;
Washing, shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair;
Providing steam facial, clean shaves with hot towel;
Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and moustaches;
Providing hair treatments and colouring;
Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use;
Understands the importance of exceptional customer service;
You will need a positive personality & the ability to interact with clients;

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years professional experience required.
Formal hairdressing qualification is desirable but not essential if you have 5+ years’ experience and existing skillset.
