Want to take your years of horse care experience and work in a positive environment?
Quiet, small private barn with 4 quality horses.
3 Days a week (possibly 4 days on occasion)
5 hours per day (no weekends).
Job responsibilities: Clean stalls, Grade arena with atv, clean waters, rake/sweep, fly masks/fly spray.
Plus as needed: body clip, tack up, hold for farrier/vet, horse first-aid/meds.
You must have in-depth horse experience.
Must live in the Tucson area. We are located East side of Tucson.
Job Requirements Include:
- Experience driving atv (tractor experience a plus)
- Excellent work ethic, absolutely reliable, trustworthy
- Fit and love working outside in peaceful environment
- Being very detailed & caring about the details
- Know how to keep stables clean & looking great
- Have a sharp and quick eye for noticing any changes in the horses health and soundness
- Confident loading/unloading horses
- Natural horsemanship experience a plus
- Show barn experience a plus

- Punctual and reliable
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Sharp eyed - excellent at noticing all the little around the barn and any changes in the horses health or soundness
- Confident at problem solving
- Excellent at communicating
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Proud of keeping a barn safe and clean
- Able to demonstrate good, sound judgment
- Calm, grounded and no drama
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean record.
