JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Integrated Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Manager, Integrated Marketing
The Integrated Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the overall integrated marketing communications strategy by executing the day-to-day responsibilities for all digital channels (web, email, and social). This role supports the Manager, Integrated Marketing in designing and executing omnichannel database marketing efforts and will also be responsible for providing post-campaign analytics to inform future marketing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-channel integrated marketing calendar, ensure that communications across all initiatives are sent out on time (email, web, social, press, print, and other channels).
- Design and build digital fan communications (email, .com, App, other) either by collaborating with the external MLB agency or creating the digital templates, customer email, and/or paid digital journeys and proofs via in house marketing automation platforms (ex: Adobe CDP, Pardot)
- Work closely with the Communications Department to ensure that all campaign content & copy align with the overall Cubs brand vision and initiative goals
- Assist the Manager, Integrated Marketing with Database Marketing annual strategic planning, coordinating objectives across multiple business functions including marketing, ticket operations, corporate partnerships and community affairs
- Coordinate regularly and timely reporting on integrated marketing initiatives and ROI
- Support the Cubs overarching CRM vision via database expansion, mining, and lead generation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or similar from an accredited university.
- Strong understanding of usability within mobile, email, social, digital, and web channels.
- Demonstrated communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
- Ability to prioritize workload, take ownership, and project manage multiple overlapping initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience with marketing automation and Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms
- (i.e.: Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Eloqua, Iterable, etc.)
- Basic Knowledge of HTML and the ability to code email templates
- Proficiency with the Salesforce CRM system
- Experienced in hands-on implementation and results in measurement
- Flexibility to work a varied, non-standard schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience (Google Adwords, SEO, SEM, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics)
- Working knowledge of customer segmentation and analytical tools such as Excel, SAS, SQL
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and ability to perform common graphics creation and modification
- 2+ years of experience in marketing and public relations planning and execution
- Email best practices and knowledge of the various data privacy laws that impact email marketing
